Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve answered these questions and more below…
If you have to move your wedding date, even if you have had to move it before we will reschedule your services to another date. The cost of this varies – for the majority of our customers we have moved them free of charge as it would not have been possible for their wedding to go ahead on their original date. There is of course the case of those who are waiting to have their “big” wedding and the restriction on numbers stops them from having the celebration they dreamed of, for these brides we’re working with them to come to a cost effective or free transfer option depending on the date, the restrictions in place and any other contributing factors.
We know the rules keep changing and there is nothing you nor I can do about it sadly so don’t worry. We had it all in 2020 – from weddings canceled with 2 days notice in March 2020 and August 2020 to weddings bought forward with less than 24 hours notice in November. If your original artist is unable to do your new wedding date we will change you to another artist of the same level.
In 2020 we had artists who had to self isolate due to having COVID or because they had been in close contact with someone who tested positive. We have a very strict health and safety policy and no one is permitted to work with any COVID symptoms. Therefore we have often had to switch artists with limited notice however this is all done behind the scenes, if we have to switch artists for your wedding day we will arrange cover for the original artist and then send you the contact details of your new artist so that you don’t have to worry about a thing.
If your original artist cannot make your new wedding date we will change your artist to another artist of the same level. We are fortunate to have a large number of artists to call on to accommodate all of our 2021 and 2022 bookings. If you have already had your trial then the original artist will share all of the images and notes with the new artist, if you would like to have another trial with the new artist this can be arranged for you.
You’re not alone, this is the case for many of our couples at the moment and our solution will depend a lot on what you choose to do next. If you choose to go ahead with smaller numbers we’ll amend your booking to accommodate this or if you choose to move your wedding date one of the above options will likely apply to you. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email and we can discuss your case specifically with you.
We’re following all the latest government guidelines and have an extensive health and safety policy to keep you and our artists safe. We do believe that with all the additional precautions we have taken having your hair and makeup done is safe however it should not be ignored that we are in a global pandemic and if you are at high risk of complications of the virus it would probably be a safer personal choice to opt out of having any close contact services at this time.
