In October I was back at South Farm in Cambridgeshire – such a popular venue I do a number of weddings there each year yet each couple puts their own spin on the venue.
Jess and Matt decided to go with an Autumnal theme and had pumpkins and ivy on the tables which looked absolutely amazing! I’m a little biased as Autumn and Halloween/Thanksgiving is my favourite time of year so I love pumpkins and all the autumnal colours!
I arrived and Jess’s parents house early to start hair prep for Jess and her bridesmaids before moving to South Farm. For Jess’s hair we went for big loose curls with a slight vintage twist in the side parting and a slightly 50’s set at the front, we avoided going for a completely 50’s wave as Jess wanted to be able to relax and move her hair without worrying about it looking perfect and in place. Her makeup was natural but defined with emphasis on the eyes and brows. It was a lovely morning getting the girls ready – wonderful photographer Caroline Hancox captured these beautiful images of the day.
The wedding was also featured on Rock My Wedding which is fairly unusual for weddings at South Farm as so many happen there – it is testament to just how beautiful Jess and Matt’s day was!
