Kathryn and Theo married on a rather chilly day in April 2013 at Rectory Farm in Cambridge. It was my first visit to Rectory Farm and what a pleasant surprise lay in store for me! The house is large and the rooms were all booked out by Kathryn and Theo’s family and friends making feel like you were just getting ready at home.
The morning was emotional with Kathryn just so pleased and excited to be marrying a man she is so deeply in love with – it really was wonderful to be a part of such a beautiful moment. Kathryn and I met twice before her wedding – firstly for her trial and secondly for a makeup lesson. A friend had sent her all sorts of Bobbi Brown products and with many friends and family members coming in from America for the wedding the week before was full of dinners and celebrations for which Kathryn wanted to look her very best! We spent the afternoon going through what she had and what she needed to complete the look and step by step created a beautiful look for Kathryn to wear. As they had a Jewish ceremony and would be seeing each other before Kathryn walked down the aisle they decided to follow American tradition and have a first look prior to the ceremony – I waited at the end of the garden with all the bridesmaids as the photographer Julia and videographers captured the intimate moment. It was later featured on Perfect Weddings 12 Incredibly Emotional Wedding Photos. Photography by Julia and You Kathryn and Theo’s beautiful wedding was also featured in Wedding Day Venues Magazine
